Nike fuel band Review




   A very new product in its unique category is the new product by Nike is Nike Fuel Band , apple tie up with Nike to build this unique product.It’s simply a wristband that tracks your movement, linked to an iPhone app throughout the day , Nike was early in the personal fitness market with its Nike-iPod accessories. it is one of the the best creation it functions as a standard pedometer but uses gaming like tactics such as awarding badges to lure sedentary people into an active lifestyle , Its pedometer tracks steps taken , calories burned, and a proprietary measurement of activity called Nike Fuel. It has a dazzling display made up of an array of 100 white LED lights used to display statistics and a thin strip of 20 color LED lights used to display a gauge of how far you are towards reaching your goal for the day. The apple’s Retina display adds a new effect the display is impressive it has a dimension of 20 x 5 pixels resolution and has some animation effects also 



Nike Fuel :- Nike used oxygen kinetics to measure the intensity of various activities on athletes wearing FuelBands , and then created Nike Fuel as a currency to best estimate the intensity of activities based on the accelerometer data from their Fuel Bands

Roku Streaming Stick REVIEW


    
    Roku has come up with its new gadget called Roku Streaming Stick which is having a lot in it , reducing the size of it they managed to fit all the necessary hardware into this tiny dongle it packs in WiFi and all into one tiny package and can even be controlled by the TV's remote it plugs into the HDMI port of MHL-compatible HDTV . it uses a protocol called Mobile Hi-Def Link, or MHL, which lets it draw power and connectivity right from the HDMI port . the stick offers connectivity to rokus web platform on which a user can enjoy movies , TV shows ,Web video and more than 400 channels it would be available in couple of months and could be also available with bundled with TV sets .

   Toshiba launches the most thinnest tablet in town although there is a tough competition in the market with the new i pad 2  and the Google nexus 7 .Toshiba Excite 10 LE stands  out one of the best off all . it’s the thinnest of all of being 10 inch and just 7.7mm and 535 grams .Toshiba is claiming to have the world's thinnest 10-inch tablet with its Excite 10 LE. This Android 4.0-powered tablet is indeed thin and lightweight, measuring 0.3 inches thick and weighing about 1.18 pounds. In addition to its thin design, the Excite 10 LE also offers a number of ports and expansion slots. With its size, range of IO ports, and good-looking magnesium alloy surface finish the Excite 10 LE is certainly eye catching. The difference of just 66 grams   didn’t give the sense that it was much lighter than the ipad 2  but over time those 66 grams would definitely take the advantage of it .Aside from the fact that this light, soft metal feels an awful lot like plastic. The issue is that it HAS A  rough edge of the tablet's plastic siding precisely where you naturally hold the device. For a device that sells on the strength of its premium design, it's a detail that should have been taken care of.

Bean Sprout Salad(Pure Vegan)(Recipies)


Ingredients:-

2 tablespoon Sesame seeds
1 pound Fresh bean sprouts
thoroughly washed
and drained
3 md Garlic cloves
peeled and minced
2 md Scallions -- trimmed & minced
1 1" cube ginger
peeled and minced
2 tablespoon Oriental sesame oil
1/3 cup Soy sauce
2 tablespoon Cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Mirin (sweet rice wine)
2 teaspoon Light brown sugar
1 teaspoon Spicy sesame oil











Methods for cooking Bean Sprout Salad :-

Makes 4 to 6 Servings Fresh bean sprouts are a must for this recipe from
China's Hunan province.
The canned variety don't have the requisite crispness. Keep a close eye on
the toasting sesame seeds so they don't burn.
PREHEAT OVEN TO 300F. Toast the sesame seeds by spreading them over the
bottom of a pie tin. Roast for 12-to-16 minutes, stirring often, until they
are golden. The seeds can be toasted in advance and stored in an airtight
container. Place the bean sprouts in a large heatproof bowl and set it aside.
In a medium-size skillet set over moderately low heat, stir-fry the garlic,
scallions and ginger in the oil for 2 to 3 minutes, until they are limp. Add
all the remaining ingredients, increase the heat to moderate, then boil the
mixture, uncovered, for 1 minute to slightly reduce the liquid. Pour the
boiling dressing over the bean sprouts, toss well, then cover the bowl and
chill the salad for several hours. Toss again before serving.

Bean Curd with Oyster Sauce(Vegan)(Recipes)

Bean Curd with Oyster Sauce
 Ingredients:-
8 ounces bean curd
4 ounces fresh mushrooms
6 green onions
3 stalks celery
1 red or green pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
4 teaspoons dry sherry
4 teaspoons soy sauce.


Method for cooking Bean Curd with Oyster Sauce:-

1. Cut bean curd into 1/2 inch cubes. Clean mushrooms and cut into slices.
Cut onions into 1 inch pieces. Cut celery into 1/2 inch diagonal slices.
Remove seeds from pepper and cut pepper into 1/2 inch chunks.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in wok over high heat. Cook bean curd in
the oil, stirring gently, until light brown, 3 minutes. Remove from pan.
3. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in wok over high heat. Add mushrooms,
onions, celery and pepper, Stir fry for 1 minute.
4. Return bean curd to wok. Toss lightly to combine. Blend water, cornstarch,
oyster sauce, sherry and soy sauce. Pour over mixture in wok. Cook and
stir until liquid boils. Cook and stir 1 minute longer.

Barbecued Spareribs (Non Vegan)(Recipies)

Ingredients:-
 

2 banks of spareribs, uncut, about 2 pounds each
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup sweet bean sauce (hoi sin deung) or hoi sin sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sherry


Method of cooking Barbecued Spareribs:-

Trim off excess fat from the thick edges of spareribs. Place ribs
in a shallow pan or platter. Mix remaining ingredients for a
marinade and spread over both sides of the spareribs. Let stand
for at least two hours.
Place one oven rack at the top of the oven and one at the bottom.
Preheat to 375F. Hook each bank of spareribs with 3 or 4 S-hooks
across its width, on the thick edges, and suspend under top rack.
Place a large pan with 1/2" water on bottom rack. This pan will
catch the drippings and keep the meat from drying out. Cook
spareribs for about 45 minutes.

Almond Cookies/Biscuits (Semi-Vegan) (Recipes)


Ingredients:-
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp almond essence
blanched almonds for decoration
beat egg for glazing
 

Method of cooking Almond Cookies/Biscuits :-


1.Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Cream the margarine
(or butter) and sugar together until light, white and fluffy. Beat in the egg
and almond essence. Stir in the sifted dry ingredients to make a stiff
dough.
2.Form the mixture into balls about 1 - 1.5 inch diameter and place these
on a greased baking tray. Place half an almond (split lengthways) on
each ball and press to flatten slightly. Brush with beaten egg.
3.Bake in a moderate oven (350 deg F / 180 deg C) for 20 minutes or
until golden. Cool on a wire rack. This quantity makes about 45
